Expanding our walls to serve our growing congregation and community

The Need for Expansion

After more than 40 years in our current facility, growth has outpaced our physical capacity. Our congregation of over 100 is quite young, with 84% under age 46. This includes 43 children and a large cohort of young families establishing their careers and homes.


We are deeply grateful to God for his blessing on our congregation, and the growth has generated stress on our facilities and on our ability to welcome and serve all members of our church community. In 2025 we formed an Exploratory Committee, and early in 2026 a Building Committee was established to purse the best option for additional space.

Support for Growing Families


Larger Sunday School classrooms and spaces for nursing mothers and infants.


Fellowship Space


Adequate areas for the shared meals and lingering fellowship that is central to our brotherhood.


Worship Viability


A sanctuary with sufficient capacity for member, guests, weddings, and baptisms.


Our Path Forward

Moving to the Gateway Church

After evaluating 26 sites, the Lord has provided a path to purchase an existing church just 1.5 miles from our current building. Although it is somewhat larger than our anticipated needs, we have strongly felt God's guidance through the purchase process. The additional space will enable us to have an attached Fellowship Hall, which we see as a tremendous blessing for our somewhat isolated congregation.


The new church is located at 14700 E Mississippi Ave, Aurora CO 80012. Cleaning, painting, and minor repairs are being completed and first services will be held on October 18, 2026, the Lord willing. Our current building has already been sold and we are renting it back for a few weeks during the transition period.


Over the next few months, we intend to draw up plans to renovate the new building to make it more functional for our use.         


Ways to Support the Project

To complete the purchase of the property at 14700 E Mississippi Ave, Aurora CO 80012, as well as necessary repairs and deferred maintenance, we secured funding from the national church. As of August 9th, 2026, we need to raise ~$1.5M to repay all outstanding obligations.
